Competition Rules

ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships Ljubljana 2010 will be run in accordance to the ICF Slalom Racing Competition Rules.


Athlete’s Village

Near the competition area will be athlete’s village with big tent for the athletes. Each team will have place for relaxation with suitable seating and tables as well as a flat floor with dividers for NFs in order to have privacy shall be made available. Toilets will be available near the big tent.


Internet Access

High Speed Wireless internet access will be available on all venue - the whole of the competition and training area, all office spaces including ICF offices, Jury, accreditation office and Media Centre.


Access pass and parking

Free access pass and car parking near the athlete’s village will be guaranteed for up to four accredited vehicle.


Official video service

During the competition days technical video signal will be provided to tent near athlet’s village. More technical details regarding technical video signal will be available at www.sloka.si.


Boat storage

Boat storage racks will be placed at athlete’s village.


Boat repair

The Organizing Committee will provide place and equipment during the competition days.


First aid

A small tent with first aid will be located in finish area. The NF will advise participants that emergency medical services will cover only emergency cases and that all participants are responsible to arrange at their cost, their own medical insurance policy.


Water safety

Rescuing in competition area during the competition days will be organized.


Medical Insurance

Organizing Committee kindly asks all participants of World Championships to ensure medical insurance policy in their countries. All costs above the regular first aid, ambulance and physiotheraupeutic services are to be covered by this medical insurance policy. Organizing Committee will not cover any expenses in connection with hospital or dental treatment.


Doping control

Doping control will be performed in accordance to the ICF Anti-doping requirements and WADA standards.


Refreshments

A small tent with drinking water and refreshments will be available in athletes’s village.
