First qualification round in K1 for men ended. Only Dejan Kralj got through to the semifinal for the moment. 
Due to high water levels in the River Sava the world championship programme for Thursday 9 September has been postponed.
The 2010 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships is now officially open, the first competitions are starting today.
Category C1 (women) was the last of the day. Eva Terčelj from Slovenia ranked 20th.
